He isn't a friend friend. Just someone I knew throughout the years through other friends but he lives In my city.
Long story short about who he is.
He got into crypto around the same time I did back in Feb 2017.
He claims he made out pretty big, and I wouldn't doubt it because he did buy a proche 911. I know he wasn't making that money off his salary with the gas company.
A few days ago about $168k worth of crypto was stolen from him. (All his crypto)
He claims he had accessed his nano from a co-workers house. Long story short. His coworker stole it. But, come to find out through his wife... He was arrested as part of sting operation that had ZERO to do with his crypto being stolen.
His wife didn't really know what he was doing. Apparently he, his co-worker, and 3 other random people were helping drug dealers launder money through crypto.
Don't ask me how he got into this mess but somehow he learned how to do this during the crypto boom, and got his co-worker involved. The random other dudes he worked with on this scheme were from Lativa. Those from Lativa are being extradited to the US for all kinds of reasons not all crypto.
Whatever the fuck happened. It seems This dude I know got caught up in a circle he didn't understand. Hes not in happy land right now. I'm imagining his "almost went lambo" will be taken away or at least sold to pay for lawyers .
I still don't know the full story as to why his Co worker stole his crypto but I can image it was probably out of greed. Even if he does get it back, it will probably be handed over to the feds so it's pretty much pointless trying to get it back.
At this point I'm not sure if he earned that porche from pure gains or earned it through money laundering . It's totally believable it came from gains because shit. What I got off a measly $500 was just retarded. But...
Dam. This guy went from crypto high...to behind bars.
I heard horror stories from People who lost big during the crash but seriously. Talk about a new meaning to market crash.
That's him. Dam
