Can someone explain the Canada issue?

All Cryptocurrencies

by COINS NEWS 157 Views

Right before we start off, I don't have a horse in this race I'm on a completely different continent but I'd just like to understand each side of the argument better.

Politics aside I get what the Canadian government has done is alarming with regards to blocking fiat/crypto and making it difficult for these people to access funds.

However my understanding is that this only occured after the "protests" had been going on for quite a while and that it was starting to have quite a big effect on the supply chain and general operation of Canada.

I get that its an alarming precedent for a government to take but surely the takehome is there is a line between protest and disruption (not sure if that's the best word for it)...

Isn't there an argument that crypto being used to fund this sort of thing is detrimental to wider adoption..

Have I missed something, is there more nuance to this?
