It's taken 2 years, but now that the market is bearish again, I am finally at peace and in agreement with those who seem to harp on about Dollar Cost Averaging into coins.
I started in crypto by YOLOs and FOMOs with a splash here and there. The anxiety and adrenaline was thrilling and torturous.
Then I sold it all. It was too much.
Then I started buying in... Just a little each paycheck. Not enough that if care if it lost it and not enough to be worth anything if the coins went to the moon. It felt like it was pointless, but it didn't require much thought or stress and I was willing to give it a go. 6 months in and my bags are filling faster than I thought. I'm in a routine and I'm not tempted to YOLO in, even with the lower prices. I don't want to sell cause I want to keep stacking. I'm at peace regardless of the market, because I'm actually genuinely not trying to "time the market"... Except that I am relying on still "being early" as part of the long run strategy.
TLDR: trust those in the sub who say to DCA. It is the way.
My only hope is I can keep holding even when prices moon...
Edit: as many have pointed out. The strategy really only works for your core stablecoins. Shitcoins are still casino royale no matter the market or strategy....
