This morning I discovered some BTC on an old wallet that hadn't yet been converted to BCH. In a hasty panic I quickly sent it to an exchange. The 'normal' fee suggestion was $3.85.
High fees on BTC aren't just a rallying cry - they are a real threat to peer-to-peer electronic cash. Most actual users, beyond the wealthy and those seeking riches, can't afford regular $2-5 transaction fees. In my humble opinion, anything above $0.20 is unacceptable. BCH fees are consistently $0.01.
