This is essentially an asset allocation question, NOT a how much do you have question.
I’m curious what percentage of everyone’s savings, investments, etc. are in crypto? Not including a home here if you own one.
For example, My wife and I (I handle the investments) are currently:
Cash: 26.8%
Stocks & Bonds: 71.85% (all index ETFs + 401ks)
Crypto: 1.35% (75% BTC/25% ETH).
Precious Metals: 0%
This does include 401ks which do hold some bonds but we don’t own any outside of those accounts.
I am looking to lower our cash percentage over the next few months and increase crypto to about 5% or so, maybe a bit more., depending on how things shake out but definitely < 10%. We are in our mid-40s.
Edit: wow, super interesting everyone. Thanks for sharing.
