I've seen a lot of people psychologically brain ninja'd from buying Bitcoin because .00124 of something sounds/reads/looks and most importantly feels puny.
As Bitcoin's USD price rises and becomes more and more out of reach for the general investor, I think the Bitcoin community needs to make a shift to emphasizing quantities in Satoshis rather than Bitcoin. What sounds better:
- I own 1 million Satoshis.. OR
- I own .01 Bitcoin
End result is the same and it SHOULDN'T matter but to a large part of the investing community it does.
