42 BTC were traded last week in Venezuela (only using LocalBitcoin), highest value since Sept 2021, monthly minimum wage keeps going down, now under 24 USD. One BTC trades around 120,000 Bs.

As you probably know I have been posting this for years already!

Now that Uphold left Venezuela (it had a good user base here), I expect a increase in the usage of ther exchanges, including LocalBitcoin. Binance is king, sadly without public stats.

Exchange rate Bs. / USD is increasing, now at 5.5 Bs per USD (weeks ago was under 5 Bs. per USD), with the monthly minimum wage fixed in Bs. any increase in the exchange rate makes the wage lower. Let's see what does the goverment to avoid this.

Yes, MONTHLY minimum wage is 24 USD, plus you get 45 Bs of food bonus in cash (that would be around 8 USD more) and in theory you should get a bag of food monthly worth around of 20 USD (rice, beans, oil, tuna, sugar, flour and so on). So if you don't have any extra income (other work, someone helping you and so on) you have to "survive" with that.

Average wage is around 100 USD according to several NGO, but a 5 members family needs around 600 USD to "live".

Where are all the zeroes that we had here in Venezuela ? Goverment eliminated six zeroes by law last october, without that currenty price of BTC would be 120,000,000,000 Bs.

A lot of redditors have helped me before, a lot of good people here! Some works and some task, even moons make (or made, last months have been really bad) a nice part of my income!

Electricity is free (like 1 USD for 3 months service for a home) for now (mining is good but risky oportunity, but now with this crypto crash....). Risky because the government hunts the miners even if in theory it is totally legal.
