Giving holiday presents is a good old tradition at CEX.IO. This year, Santa dropped a bag of golden coins under our crypto Christmas tree, so we’re launching a $5,000 Aurus Buy & HODL contest.

The rules are simple:

• Buy a minimum 40 AWX tokens from December 14 to December 20
• Hold them in your CEX.IO account through at least December 27
• We’ll choose and announce random winners by January 10
• Prize pool: $5,000 worth of AWX

Contest Details

Aurus launched some exciting updates like AWX staking, vault signer card, yield farming, rebranding, and much more. Also, they introduced instant Aurus credit card purchases with the help of CEX Direct. We’re so excited by this news, we created a new Aurus contest!

Every CEX.IO user who buys at least 40 AWX tokens on the Trade page, from from December 14 to December 20, becomes eligible for the $5,000 Aurus Buy & HODL contest. Users located in countries where AWX is unavailable for CEX.IO trading are ineligible to participate. 

The minimum time frame for HODLing in order to have a chance at the prize roll is through December 27. During this period, by buying even more AWX, you’ll increase your chances of winning – up to $1,200 in AWX tokens.

On December 28 at 00:00 UTC, we’ll take a snapshot of all participant balances.

We’ll count the total amount of AWX tokens purchased since December 14. If you sold or withdrew your AWX tokens before December 27, they will not count.

We’ll create a list of the top AWX hodlers at the time of the snapshot. There will be four groups: 

Top 10 (places 1-10) 

Top 20 (11-20) 

Top 30 (21-30) 

Top 40 (31-40)

By January 10, we’ll randomly choose one (1) winner from each group with the following reward distribution: 

• Top 10 winner – $1,200 AWX
• Top 20 winner – $800 AWX
• Top 30 winner – $700 AWX 
• And $500 AWX goes to the Top 40 winner 

The more AWX you buy = the higher your rank = the better your chances to win the top prize.

Not ready to spend a lot of money on AWX? Don’t get upset, because you still have a chance to win!

It’s Christmas time and miracles should happen. That’s why we’ll share an additional $1,800 AWX among ALL eligible participants. 

Three lucky HODLers will receive $600 each. 

Terms

1. The contest  runs from December 14 to January 10, 2022.*

2. The competition is available for all customers in countries where CEX.IO can operate, with the exception of countries where AWX is unavailable (the U.S. and Canada). The list of unsupported countries is here. 

3. The minimum amount you must buy to qualify for the contest is 40 AWX tokens. 

4. The last day you can buy AWX and take part in the contest is December 20, 2021, at 23:59:59 UTC. 

5. We’ll count all AWX tokens purchased beginning December 14, through December 20, and held on your CEX.IO balance through December 27. We will not count  tokens bought before December 14, as well as tokens sold or withdrawn before December 20.

6. Deposits are not counted, only purchases/trades via market and limit orders. 

7. We’ll form the groups of Top HODLers depending on the amount of AWX tokens bought during the promo period. The more tokens you buy and HODL, the higher  your rank position. 

8. We’ll take a snapshot of all participant balances on December 28.

9. We’ll announce  winners by January 10, 2022.

10. The winners will receive prizes by January 20.
