99% of the time the best thing to do is absolutely nothing

With the recent bull run it is very tempting to FOMO into the euphoria and buy more crypto since prices are going by up.

Don’t forget a few months ago when the market is bleeding, it is equally tempting to get sucked into the FUD by selling.

That’s why we humans are naturally poor investors, we make emotional decisions. In investing, at least 99% of the time the best thing is to do absolutely nothing, and just stick to your investing strategy, be it DCA or only buy when there’s a dip. Often we feel the need to constantly tinker and ‘optimise’ our portfolio, which 99% of the time is unnecessary.

Market going up? Celebrate but stick to your buy/sell schedule. Market’s tanking and it’s red everywhere? Brush it off and stick to your buy/sell strategy.
