I'm a numbers guy, I love them, and just figured I'd put together a quick post slash update to inform anyone who cared that I don't believe the bear market is over, nor do I have any clue as to when it will be over, but I do have my numbers, and I just wanted to put something in perspective with them.
I always put away a certain amount of money each month for my cryptocurrency investment fund, and I love clean numbers, so for example, $250, $500, and $1,000 would be the clean amounts I am referring to. Once I get a certain amount in my savings account, I transfer it over to the exchange, and I make a trade, or set my buy limit orders for a potential trade.
I usually save up for an entire quarter, but on this particular occasion I decided to transfer a little early, and once the money was available for investing, I set a buy limit order for let's make it clean and say $2,000 for 250 coins, which I thought would never fill, because 2 months ago it took $3,000 to purchase the same 250 coins... well it filled at the $2,000 buy limit!
This was shocking to say the least, but I do have goals set in place, so my dollar cost averaging technique is getting more affordable as the months go by. I am a long-term guy, so I embrace the dips, especially these major dips we have been experiencing over the last 2 years. I plan on reaching my goals, and holding my bags until another strategy I have created is completed.
I have been through two cryptocurrency bull markets so far in my life, and my only regret through both was not having more coins and tokens... this next time I won't have any regrets.
