It's Sunday my dudes.
I just thought people would find this interesting. For the past few months, I've been making it a point to bring up crypto to friends, family, acquaintances, and anyone else. My intent in doing so is to get a good idea of current public opinion and awareness regarding crypto - not by using the internet, looking at data, or reading articles, but just by going out and chatting people up. I really think there is great value in doing so to understand obstacles to widespread adoption, and how we can create new growth in the industry.
The Good
"I just find it so interesting. It's only been around for a few years and we've seen such explosive growth."
"Love it. Bought in during the May '21 dip and holding as an inflation hedge."
"I'm all for it, it's pure freedom. Haven't bought in yet, but I really see the value in it. I guess I haven't bought in yet because I'm not sure what I need to know and how I can learn it."

The Bad
"Its been used for drugs and crime, count me out."
"I guess I don't want to get involved with it because what if suddenly everyone decides it's worth nothing?"
"I feel like a big scandal could ruin crypto for good."
