A major Australian bank just minted its own stablecoin

One of the biggest banks in Australia, ANZ, just minted the very first stablecoin pegged to the Australian dollar.

This is the number 3 lender in the country and has enormous assets at its disposal to ensure the integrity of the stablecoin.

ANZ said it has delivered the Australian dollar stablecoin, which it calls A$DC, to a private wealth management firm for digital assets.

This is insanely bullish for crypto and Australian investors in particular. The the government is currently undertaking deep investigations into the potential use for digital assets.
