A new cryptocurrency milestone has just been reached by holders this past weekend!
Over the weekend we saw over 1 million addresses that have a balance of 1 Bitcoin in their wallet. This is a very significant accumulation trend among small users. The whales of course are win a league of their own but for the average person, this is a bullish occasion.
During the run-up to the 2017 bull market, we saw 500,000 addresses hold 1 Bitcoin or more. There are plenty of individuals who hold 1 Bitcoin or less. Those are us shrimp. That said, we have seen a large amounts of accumulation over the last few years.
Those "shrimp" now make up a group who hold a total supply of 1,345,444, roughly 7% of the supply.
Add in all the individuals who hold less than a bitcoin and that number goes up drastically!
