A step by step on how to buy and sell Reddit Avatars on Opensea.

Please note that Reddit are soon to have their own market place to buy and sell avatars which I'd assume is going to be a lot easier than going down the meta mask route. I just wanted to provide some help for anyone looking to buy and sell currently.

1. Firstly Install MetaMask, MetaMask is a browser extension that allows you to securely store and manage your Crypto-based assets, including NFTs. You can install it for free on PC or phone.
2. After installing, click on the MetaMask icon and follow the instructions to import a new account. You'll be asked to provide your "Seed phrase" which Reddit provided when you created your vault, you should have this written down in a safe location. (Do not save your seed on any device as this will open you up to potentially being hacked.)
3. DONT BUY CRYPTO ON METAMASK AS ITS VERY OVERPRICED

I advise to send MATIC to your MetaMask wallet from a different App and swap it for WETH (Wrapped ETH): You need WETH to buy Reddit NFT's on the Polygon/Matic network which has very cheap gas fees on transactions. You need Matic to esstentially do anything on the polygon chain so send yourself around $5 worth for gas and that should last you a while.
5. Now you can visit OpenSea.io. OpenSea is a marketplace for NFTs, where you can browse and purchase unique digital collectibles. Navigate to the OpenSea website and connect your MetaMask account by clicking the MetaMask icon in the top right corner of the page. Or you can access via the Metamask APP by clicking the 3 lines in the top right corner and navigate to browser. Once connected click "Account" then "Profile." Here you should be able to see your Reddit Avatars. If you still cant see them navigate to the "Hidden" part where you can chose to "Unhide" if you wish.
6. Once you're connected to MetaMask, you can browse the OpenSea marketplace purchase NFTs by clicking on the "Buy" button. If you're looking to sell a Avatar you can click the "Sell" and list at a desired price. MetaMask will automatically populate the required information, and you can complete the transaction in the MetaMask popup. Remember it will cost you a small amount of Matic to list an item as you will be using the polygon network.
7. Please make sure before buying any Reddit Avatars that you are looking at the legit collection as there are a lot of fake ones on there. If you search "Reddit Collectible Avatars" all the collections should appear and make sure you only purchase if there's a blue check mark next to the collections name.
