Navigating the complex world of cryptocurrency projects requires robust technical knowledge, including understanding blockchain technology, web3 frameworks, development IDEs and various programming languages. Surprisingly it is not only about writing the 'smart contract' in Solidity. The setup of the development environment, including a local blockchain, continuous integration pipelines for development and test, is vital for efficient coding, verification, and execution of the contract. Ensuring secure functionality is paramount. The ability to quickly realize a project is crucial in the fast-paced crypto field. We've seen many questions in this subreddit about existing frameworks, tools and blockchain development environments. We've seen also here many examples of Meme coins projects and deployment announcements. So what is required to get this type of work done quickly and efficiently? How much code, tests and dev time are needed. Our challenge was to get this done in less than 5 days: from just an idea to contract deployment on the main net, project web site, user app and critical code verification / visibility. Clearly even in the trivial world of Meme coin development there are different shades of grey (read pain and confusion). Spoiler: It's not just a trivial 6 lines of Solidity code contract: A Technical Anatomy of a Crypto Meme Project [Project Web] [Project GitHub] [Twitter] [$BAUBL] [BAUBL App] [link] [comments] |
