A wholesome gesture from a Bank for Crypto lovers : A Bank in Germany decided to help it's customers by educating them about Crypto and not to leave them alone when investing in Crypto assets !The only bank I like from now on !

You know how much Banks hates Crypto that they would advise their customer to not to go anywhere near Crypto assets, sometimes blocks purchases. But this bank in Germany surprised everyone with their decision to "Not to leave their customers alone when investing in Crypto assets"

Volksbank Raiffeisenbank Bayern Mitte ,a regional bank in Germany decided to train their management staff of 800 employees in 25 workshops of 30 people each,to create a broad understanding of the topic among all employees.

Firstly they educated their employees about Crypto and now the employees will educate the customers about Crypto, basically Only about Bitcoin. Because the Members of board are of the opinion that Bitcoin is the only real decentralized Blockchain application and only BTC offers sufficient security. While other Cryptocurrencies are not comparable to BTC,and there are companies and business model behind them that compromise the decentralise nature and have influence over the value of Crypto.

We see the danger that other providers will overtake us if we don't react now.We also don't want to expose our customers to the risk of getting into dubious providers.Instead we want to offer them added value with our own services.

The bank will educate customers from the basics of Blockchain like "how it works" to "take the ownership your BTC in their cold wallets". Bank official clarified that they won't be offering Crypto assets to the customers but they will help the customers while investing in them, by telling them about the do's and don'ts and more importantly to take the custody of their Crypto assets in their cold wallets.

This is definitely a nice wholesome gesture by a bank.No other bank have tried to put that much effort to help it's customers about Crypto. it would help the customers to take the first step to invest in Crypto when they will have basic information. The education part is the most important. Customer will be more comfortable after knowing that there is somebody who will answer their questions about Crypto.
