Account Abstraction, an alternate to single seeds.

I'm sure many of us have already ordered or are searching for alternative hardware wallets. Some of us have jumped from exchanges, got tokens/coins stuck on exchanges, lost/leaked seed phrase throughout the past many years. All of them have one thing in common that is crypto at a source of single point of failure.

So I wanted to suggest an alternative called Account Abstraction (AA) or Smart Contract Wallets(SCW). They are protected by multiple signatures and not a single seed phrase or a hardware manufacturer. The multiple signatures can be cold wallets, hot wallets, and even email and sms in the case of Argent. You can also pay with any token, it need not be the native coin of the chain. They also tend to have a neat UI. It's cheaper to deploy one on L2s than on Ethereum, so maybe that's where you can try them out. I’m still playing around with them, not ready yet to dump everything I own in it just yet.

I'm biased towards them because I believe they are the future for mass adoption. Those take us closest to the simplicity of an app like Cash App or PayPal. Though they posses contract risk just like any other contract but seem to be a viable option for many including Vitalik who has spoken fondly about them. Do your own research on their safety and usability for you.
