Address verification request without prior warning and stopped trading

I've been fully verified on binance for over a year. On Friday, when entering an order, a message popped up out of nowhere saying I needed to verify my address (I hadn't received any warning by email or anywhere in the app before). I can see in the verification center that I am fully verified. I can't enter any buy/sell instructions now. Verification has been going on for two days and still not done. How can they afford to do this without prior warning?
