Adoption of BTC

I was in Costa Rica this past October and was pleasantly surprised to find several places accepting sats for service. I would definitely not say that this was the standard however, adoption is starting to happen in this part of Central America. The project is called the bitcoin jungle. in fact, they even have a website that you can visit. It shows all the BTC Friendly establishments in CR. This got me thinking, I would love to hear from all of you what BTC looks like in your country/town. Is BTC a part of your day to day life or is it just a means of wealth preservation? Maybe I am stating the obvious, but, adoption means more stability and more demand. These things help fight inflation. I love the gains, don’t get me wrong! However, I think my focus is now on adoption and implementation. Again, please feel free to share places you have used bitcoin to transact business.
