Advice of getting crypto out?

I got my crypto on binance since I started my crypto journey a few months ago.

I know people always said not your keys not your crypto, but it didn't really bother me having my funds on binance, especially because their safu fund which makes me feel safe.

However, we all know there's some bad news almost every day about binance sadly. I was thinking about a cold wallet already a month back but I'm afraid to use one. The reason is my own stupidity, as I'm afraid of setting it up wrong, losing the wallet or some other stupid shit. I like having a support line if something goes wrong.

Having a hot wallet is also dangerous. That's more or less binance without safu. If my hot wallet gets hacked then I'm screwed.

And then there's gas fees. I don't want to see my crypto getting eatinf up by that.

I just want some help because I'm panicking. I don't want to lose my crypto.
