Advice Requested on a Full Node to Run Advanced Analytics

Premise: I'm seeking to host my own full node to run analytics to answer questions I have that I can't find answers to online right now. I would love feedback from the community on my plans, and also welcome others questions about the history, or what they wish could be answers from the data that they haven't seen done either through a case study, or by models and APIs to structured views of the blockchain data.

History: I have been intrigued by BTC since 2011, but unfortunately sold what I purchased back then when it trippled in value - all of it, didn't keep a single one. I think because of (insert emotional dissapointment here) watching what has happened since I've subconsciously been rooting for it to fail, so I wouldn't feel so (insert I feel stupid emotion here) about not having kept even a small percentage of what I used to hold.

Anyway, I finally decided to take a more rational look at the structure of the system, and it's projected path to the future, and I came to realize that I've been stuipdly jsut sitting on the sideline (irrational behavior) due to past experience that has absolutely no rational impact on the future of BTC.

This probably sounds silly to most, but it's my history, and I thought worth starting with. I'm an owner of BTC again, finally... I see the light.

I'm a data engineer and with education in (computer science/engineering, network engineering and physics) and work experience in large data modeling, analytics, and finding unique views of complex data. I've spent most of my free time the last decade applying these insights to science fields (research), stock market data, and human behavior (sociology and psychology).

The questions I'm personally out to answer are modeling behaviors of active and inactive wallets. How price changes impacts the behvior of the ecosystem. How scarsity ebs and flows with market dynamics of in and out flows between known and unknown entities. The biggest one I have is exactly how many gatheres are there out there, addresses that accumulate (mainly) and continue to do so regardless of price, and then modeling how price movement impacts the behavior of those sets of datapoints. I'd like to know what would happen to scaristy in BTC in projected paths of increase in price between now and 2050 and beyond. I see a lot of opinions in this, but I'm not able to find research that is backed in modeling data. I want to build tools to promote more research in these areas (btw, if anyone knows of resources already doing this, please share!)

Planned Build (Hardware): I'm planning to start with the following build, with plans to allow for expansion if I run into any bottlenecks in processing and analytics work when I get to that stage. Many of these parts were recommendations after conversations with preview 01 GPT - so might be dated about a year... any improvements in the last 12 months would be helpful, if people notice them. I'm really trying to keep my initial hardware cost within a $1200 budget, if possible. With upcoming Black Friday deals, I think I can buy all of this for under $1,000USD:

Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 7700

Motherboard: MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK (Notes: absolutely needs AM5 socket support)

Memory (RAM): G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB DDR5-6000

Storage: Samsung 990 Pro 2TB

Power Supply: Corsair RM850x

Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow

CPU Cooler: Corsair iCUE H100i Elite Capellix

Optional for advanced modeling and machine learning features later:

Graphics Card: MSI GeForce GT 1030 2GB GDDR5

Connectivity: Not ideal, I live sort of in the middle of nowhere (by design) and reply on Starlink Residential for data connectivity. My download speeds are in the 150-200MB range. So this should be fine after the initial bloakchain history is validated (downloaded). I have gathered it's around 600GB currently. I've had no issues with starlink, except the occational 30-75 minute blackout that seems to come once or twice a year. I may move my rack to an office building I own, if connectivity becomes and issue down the line.

Software: Ubuntu Server

Greatly Appreciate any insights from the community or tips... thinks I might not be considering up front, that could save me some heartache down the road.
