I've been aware of BTC since it was around $300. Watched it all the way up and had a list of reasons why I didn't think it was a good investment. All of my concerns about adoption and use cases have been met, all of my reasons for not investing allayed. I made the decision to go in.
But because I came in late*, it was dreadful to see it shoot up into the $60's. I've been ad hoc DCA'ing and nothing gets me more excited than buying it all the way down. I hope it goes to $30.
I was explaining to a friend that I don't care about the "value" of Bitcoin. "Why not" he asked... "Do you watch the spot price of the dollar against gold, or silver, or securities, or the Euro?" Of course not. The spot price in dollars doesn't matter. A low price just means I can buy more which is exciting.
It's like have a 15% coupon.
*"Late" is relative. We are only 10% into the game....
