ALGO going from 4% APY to 0.45% APY out of nowhere was quite disappointing.

Maybe I am the one to blame here (most likely scenario), but the ALGO I hold on coinbase (I know not your keys not your coins) went from 4% APY to 0.45% APY and I never got any form of notification.

Sure, I haven't done my best with keeping up with the project after my original DD a few months ago, but why did this change without warning me?

I feel like coinbase, and other exchanges, should notify us when this happens. Maybe I am to blame, as I should keep up with the company and their progress, but sometimes you plan to hold something for years. This was frustrating.

Anyone else have similar issues/stories?

Edit: i have learned that the ALGO team announced it in multiple ways, and apparently so did coinbase, but I didn't seem to get the notification from coinbase
