All of the bitcoin Price Prediction Noise

I have been in bitcoin since 2019, granted not very early, so I still kick myself for that. I keep my finger on the pulse of bitcoin, as an investment vehicle, but I cant help but think based on the last halving how people can take any of these "reliable sources" (typically tradfi hedge fund professionals)" seriously who threw out price predictions left and right back in 2020/21 and were seriously off by a large amount.

Its like these people throw out guesses without a care in the world as to how it hurts their credability if its wrong.

Was this prevelant back in 2017 halvings and earlier?
