Almost got scammed today..

Watch out fellow coiners, I got a call today from the "bank" about a fraud charge at a target in my name. He went by the name "Michael Thomas" and used an email "[email protected]" They spoofed my banks customer service line number to call me and act as a rep. for them. Somehow he had personal information about me on file already like my SSN..that shit freaked me out. Once he heard Coinbase he got wayy too excited and kept mentioning it, asking if I used any other apps like cash app or Paypal to pay for stuff. He managed to shut my email down and my bank account saying it was a full "refresh" to prevent future scams. He also asked me to reset my coinbase password and use a temp pass that he would provide..lol..fuck that. I changed all my passwords after I hung up on him. Anyway I just wanted to give everyone a heads up about this as a Pre-emptive strike on this bullshit going around this weekend. Stay safe everyone.
