Buying bitcoin for the first time, I am using bisq2 to exchange. I sent the dude I was buying from $250 on Zelle and he sent back 0.02034420 BTC ($1288) to my wallet (Blocks still unconfirmed). He's requesting that I send him back the difference, He also said he'd round up my order to 0.0045 for the inconvenience.
I'm afraid that this might be an Overpayment scam. What do you guys think? What should I do now?
Edit 2: I managed to accelerate it on my phone through Apple Pay, letβs see what happens now.
Edit 3: I received the payment, with 4 block confirmations, guess itβs time to fight with my conscience on what the right thing to do would be. Any advise appreciated. Should I send the difference back? Was he really scamming me?
