Am I missing anything with Brave Browser and BAT?

I always try to be skeptical whenever I encounter anything that sounds too good to be true, especially in the online and crypto space. However, I have been using Brave Browser since January and it all just seems to make sense.

• The browser is pretty much the same as Chrome with a built-in adblocker.
• So far I have earned around $20 in BAT for browsing the internet and doing what I would be doing anyway. This is just on my laptop browser (once I can link my Gemini account with Android I will do that too).
• The whole use case of BAT, how it pertains to advertisers buying BAT, BAT being paid out to viewers for viewing target ads, being able to use that BAT to tip creators etc, just makes a lot of sense.

The whole thing seems like such a great idea, I can't imagine why everybody doesn't do it. Am I missing something here and somehow being swindled?
