Am i too late to rebuild my portfolio?

Around 1 month ago, i lost all my holdings after doing futures (stupid mistake, i was basically gambling). I was hoping to slowly build up my portfolio again throughout the next 5 to 6 months. But right now the market is picking up. Im worried by the time i have enough funds, all the alts i used to hold like ada, link will be like 5x by then. Link is practically almost 2x since i lost my portfolio. But of course this is assuming the alts will only reach their prev ath during the bull market. Will bitcoin dump again next coming weeks taking all the alts with them? Im feeling like shit rn because im fomoing and yet i domt have enough funds to buy them. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Edit: When i meant build my portfolio up again, i dont mean to build up to trade. Just spot holding. Ive learned my lesson doing futures shit.
