Having dealt with Bitcoin exchanges and banks for a while now, my expectation bar was low. But, I was truly amazed by strike customer service and figured I will share.
I have scheduled a monthly DCA amount. For this month, for some reason - my DCA buy was repeated back to back until my whole fiat amount was drained instead of just 1 time. Obviously I was annoyed, but like I said - my expectation bar was low (I am a developer and bugs happen unfortunately). I treated like a smash buy anyway, which I do for time to time.
I opened a ticket with customer service to let them know about the bug and said I am open to reverse the transactions if they want (Bitcoin price went up a little bit after my buy).
Within an hour, the app went down for maintenance. Then, a customer service contacted me within 12 hours and apologized. And finally, 2 days later - they told me I can keep the Bitcoin (bought w/o my authorization) and they fully refunded the whole fiat amount!!!
This is a ridiculous above and beyond customer service. Coinbase would have locked my account and told me to fuck off lol, Gemini maybe would have told me I can sell it back and refunded the fees - but ya - the Jack Mallers and the Strike team is the real deal!
