After the first email I received from the official Binance support email, asking me to enter my confirmation code to reset my password (which I didn't ask for - as I was asleep when it was requested) I disabled my account.
I was worried because the email was from a legit Binance email account and also contained the correct Anti-phishing code that I had set up. Thank goodness I requested 2FA (and have changed my email address password since) and that it works.
Once again I check my emails today to see that, while I was sleeping my password was once again requested to be changed - official email address and the correct anti-phishing code provided. Not to mention that my account remains disabled.
Just what is happening here?
Have phishing attacks managed to collect my email address and Binance anti-phishing code? HOw is that even possible?
I hear about Binance deducting money from people's accounts under provably false pretenses, customer support just ignoring people that they've been unable to help, people losing thousands to account closures and the list goes on.
I know that bad news rings louder than good news, but now this email issue with my phishing code about three times in the last two weeks...it's not good!
