So im new to binance, i was using an indian app and i wanted to switch to Binance, but transfer fees were 20 % on the app ( whole nother story)/ To make it short, i made a binance account, did kyc and all and went to p2p to buy some usdt to convert to ETH. I wanted to do a small order first to figure it out, so i did that.
Apparently the seller had a condition if I mentioned crpyto anywhere in the payment, i'd have to pay a penalty. I didnt know about this so i asked him to make an exception. Finally i asked him to reduce the amount of penalty cos it was almost the same amount of USDT I was spending. Then I payed the reduced amount to get the USDT.
Is this normal? If not, can i get binance to take action?
