Hi everyone! I expect to get some hate for this, but im genuinely curious what you guys think. So my opinion right now is that most of the so called "CryptoCurrencies" arent actual Currencies at all. Lets take BTC or ETH as an example: -does ANYONE use those 'currencies' to actually buy something or USE it in any other way? Shouldnt a currency try to be utilized and used to exchange goods? Not seeing ANYONE on here trying to talk about adoption or ease of use for example? Everything on here is "HODL" and price movement in order to get profits to convert back to dollars. What i originally thought Crypto was intended to was to make a mean of exchange to not use Fiat anymore. But here we are, talking about how many dollars we will get for a Bitcoin in the next bullrun. this would make btc and all the others an asset(which is fine for me, but greatly diverges from what crypto was supposed to be. and thats making the dollar obsolete). Am happy to start a discussion about this. Nice holidays and a happy new year to all!
