Wondering if you guys feel like you are consuming less because of investing in crypto.
Saw a comment mention "Ramen Cost Averaging" which brought this to mind.
For myself, I think I'm buying much less and just thinking about ways to save. Order out less, buying clothes when necessary, meal planning, cutting down on stuff, etc. What ways has your spending changed after looking into crypto?
When adoption hits critical mass, what will that look like for everyone else? Will people keep trying to consume more or less?
If so, then crypto as a whole is pretty beneficial to the environment, only if it provokes a kind of societal change that changes from this attitude of mass consumption to something else.
POW probably will stick around though, so this offset would need to beat that negative.
