As a New Guy, I am Impressed with this Sub!

Edit: Awards and multiple comments fast!? You guys are on it! As I understand likes and such mean a portion of moons, so thank you! I’ll try to post some of what I know. Basically, the roots of crypto and how it has been used in IT forever now and maybe tie it into cryptocurrency. Hope I can help someone learn!

I have been here only a couple weeks. As an IT professional with a cybersecurity Masters degree and a strong background in cryptography as it is applied to securing data (I was a crypto guy in the Army handling paper tapes and such for radios) this interested me, to say the least. I understand the basics of crypto and tokenization, but never have looked too far into it. Then I found this sub!

This subreddit is looking like the next step in crypto! Interactive, cooperative and a nurturing environment for learning about crypto and what “decentralized” really means. This is special! I have been recommending this to coworkers and some are here now and chasing moons while realizing crypto is so much more than BTC, Doge and Elon Musk. I am excited for the future!
