At what point do you just say "Fine, I'll ride it to 0 if I have to"?

Earlier on, I used to believe getting as many coins as possible is a good idea because some of them might go intro the stratosphere and make me a decent buck. However, time has shown that diversification is not necessarily a good thing in the crypto space. There have been numerous coins that lost more than 95% of their value and I obviously won't sell that for pennies. I'm curious... At what point do you decide if you're just going to ride it to 0 as it's not worth selling anymore? For me, it's around the 70% loss region.
