Three years ago, I started to have an interest in BTC. I didn't have a clue what it was or how it worked. I was telling a friend that maybe we should consider putting some money into BTC, but he said that this was a bad way of thinking because BTC was already at $30k. He argued that no matter how much I put into it, it wouldn't go a lot higher because it was already high and we missed our chance. He suggested that if I wanted to invest in the crypto world, I should go for new cryptocurrencies that were still below $1 and would potentially jump to $30k like BTC did.
Because I was naive and young, I just believed him (he's older and works at an AI company) and considered myself already late for BTC. If I had started DCA at that time, I would probably have over 1 BTC by now. I always tell that friend that he should never give financial advice, even to me, because now I feel like he is the reason I didn't start early with investing in BTC. ????
