Being from a third-world country, I would like to say how bitcoin really helps.

So this is how the normal process works -

Past government is generally corrupt - So the new government comes in with vows of not increasing the taxes.

1. New government comes in with popular vote - Now, has to fulfill its vows but need money to run the government - Build, Maintain, Pay salaries and the, more importantly, pay the members of government.
2. Since they cannot increase taxes, the only other way is printing more money - pressuring the reserve bank is quite easy.
3. Soon this printing starts affecting everyone in the economy aka Inflation comes in, followed by protest, and in response, the government starts declaring an emergency.
4. Country goes rogue - No Media rights, personal rights. Unemployment, Poverty skyrockets.

We have seen this happening time and time again - Lebanon, Zimbabwe, Venezuela, and more. I really want bitcoin to stop this extra printing part because that's what kills the country. Millions of people have lost lives.
