Now I understand stocks, hedge funds and crypto are not the same, they are not regulated in the same ways, the same laws do not apply. However the fact is that the outcome of the actions of these people is the same, billions lost and lives destroyed, savings of thousands of people hoping to build a better future gone forever.
You could say that they were foolish to invest in crypto so heavily and not have a backup option but that doesn't change the fact that egomaniacs like Kvon need to be held accountable.
I do also realize Madoff outright committed fraud and that it can't be compared to Kvon who is probably more negligent than fraudfull but it remains to be seen.
Since goverments aren't eager to invest time and energy into regulation of these markets question remains what can be done about things like these in order for them not to happen again.
I heard that Luna 2.0 is coming out and I think that every major exchange like Coinbase, Durafi, Binance should remove it from listings and in the future ban any projects associated with these people to insure the stability of the markets.
I am not saying that the governments should have the same kind of control over cryptos like they do with stock because that is the complete opposite of what crypto should be but to insure that people don't get scammed some rules are needed.
Do you share my sentiment and what are your opinions ?
