As I understand it, the most secure wallet is a paper wallet created on an airgapped computer that has the full btc chain up to date and then storing the seed phrases on etched metal plates split into sections and each section stored apart from the other.
I just got an email from Ledger saying that my ledger wallet may be compromised. Ledger is stored in an airtight box
Itβs only ever received BTC. never sent any out
I plan on holding the BTC in the ledger for 10+ years.
My brother has 5 of the 12 phrases etched into a metal plate in his safe. The other 5 are in my sisters safe. Both are in separate cities. I have the last 2 seedphrases also etched into a metal plate in my underground safe in a completely different country in a rural ranch.
Shld I consider moving funds to a new airgapped paper wallet?
