BETH Staking - Noob questions (yea sorry lads)

Sorry, Noob here.

Planning to add 100 ETH to Binance then use the exchange to swap to BETH..

Then do I just hold it in my spot wallet? Or have to press the Earn button somewhere?
(then pray to the crypto gods nothing happens to Binance)

I can't set up my own node as I travel from Airbnb to Airbnb so I think it should be fine?

Should be some 1.5k extra I month I think. (based on 6% APY) - Is that wrong? Roughly 0.5 Eth a month reward? Decent? Im sure I am missing something.

Probably dumb but can't knock that return potential.
