BEWARE: Fake Binance Mobile App Has Been Spreading

The case may already have more than 400 hundred victims.

Counterfeit Android Binance mobile app preys on its victims. The fake Binance app looks and works the same as the original. All stock exchange functions are available, you can trade with it, etc.

The case was reported in Asian crypto groups, and the case may already have hundreds of victims.

The hidden part affects users' wallets. If someone tries to make a transaction with the application, it automatically replaces the addresses provided by the users with the address of the hacker wallet, so whoever does not check the pasted address gets scammed.

HOW TO BE PROTECTED:

when making a transfer, we check whether our wallet address shown in the mobile app (e.g. USDT) matches our wallet address shown on the Binance website (after logging in). If the two addresses are different, delete the phone application and reinstall it from the link on the Binance page.

when making a transfer, we check whether the wallet address shown in the confirmation email received from the stock exchange matches the wallet address we provided during our pending transfer.
