Around 1:00AM an email went out to a members of a very popular online crypto casino. The email looked like this This looks extremely similar to their other emails and even the address it was sent from looked like the email that you would typically receive such emails from. An example of a legitimate email from them is Legitimate Email (my name is covered) So the link lead to nothing for me but I looked on the reddit of that casino and some people were directed to a login page allegedly. However the message spread quick that this was clearly a scam attempt and don't login until they confirm on telegram. Some time passes and I check the reddit again and this is what was posted. PROFAINTY,RASCIST AND VULGAR LANGUGE IS USED so please be weary. The page after about an hour of the email going out What shocks me is that 1. How did that guy not have 2FA on his account I gamble minuscule amount compared to that and I do. 2. How did the email list of Stake users get leaked? It is obviously a despicable thing to do but I have to admit it was a pretty solid scam attempt from them considering the email looked the same and Stake so they just think its like every other time they login and claimed but I guess it went a little differently. TLDR: Phishing Scam leads to 10 million for scumbags. [link] [comments] |
