Hey guys,
So over the last few months, I've been using my Binance debit card a lot. Everything has worked perfectly up until now. Whenever I bought something and returned it (or partially), I received a refund in EUR, which is the currency the reseller I bought from used.
However, last month I booked a rental car and they reserved a certain amount on my card. The rental car was in USD, but my card history shows the crypto that got deducted and shows the exchange rate with EUR, and also the total price is shown in EUR. Nothing strange there, pretty similar to how it would normally go when making a payment from a European bank. Now I didn't have to pay for everything that got reserved beforehand and the rest of it should get returned to my card. Here is where it gets tricky though since I assume they return USD to my account. My Binance card wallet only shows the following currencies as possible balances:
BNB, BUSD, BTC, SXP, EUR, ETH, ADA, DOT, FIL, XVS, VAI. So... No USD! Quite some time has passed now and I'm getting worried my returned USD is stuck somewhere in limbo.
Does anybody have any clue whether and how I can add USD to the balances or what the best way is to go about this? Any similar stories are also welcome, it would just suck if my rental car was this expensive!
Cheers, and thank you for your time!
