Binance P2P Scam or is it ok?

So I did my first P2P trades today selling my USDT. I sold to a golden star merchant named Irfan Raza and used his Revolut service, which went through smoothly for about $2000 USDT as a test transaction. However, the name on the incoming payment was Mykhail Bek - at the time, I didn't question it... I figured Irfan Raza was the fake name and Mykhail was his real name... the funds came through and cleared into my account, it was the correct amount and so I released the crypto...

Second order, for $10,000 USDT I went with the same guy 'Irfan Raza aka Mykhail Bek'.... I waited 30mins and got nothing, then I noticed his whatsapp number for faster payments so I pinged him a whatsapp message to nudge him along - at this point I noticed his country code is for UAE. After a few hours, he sent me £3100.00 GBP which is just over 50% of the expected payment... but from account name Mark John Domingo who apparently resides in Gibraltar. Now alarm bells are ringing.

I contacted CS who said it might be that he needs to use other accounts but he shouldn't be doing that and you can appeal the payments but he hadn't at the time marked it as paid so I'd have to wait for either the time to lapse and order cancel or wait until full amount is paid and then appeal it.

With 40mins remaining on the 6hr transfer time limit, he marked it as paid without sending any further funds and said it was just to keep the order from timing out. At this point, I jumped ahead and appealed it.

Now he's saying if I'm not comfortable, just refund the money he's paid me already....

My problem is, he will give me bank details to refund it to, but I can't be sure those are the correct details for whoever really sent me that money... and I don't want to get a chargeback or some legal correspondence later having to pay back more.

Really not sure what to do here...
