Binance refuses to remove me from their mailing list

I wanted to stop receiving promo emails from Binance, so I looked for the Unsubscribe link in an email I was sent but it said that I need to log into my account to adjust my email settings. For whatever reason, I was unable to log into my account which isn't really a problem because I'm in the US and was planning to use binance.us. So I contacted customer support to remove me from their mailing list. They told me that they were unable to remove me from the mailing list that they added me to and that I should just mark their emails as spam. This is absolutely ridiculous. Has anyone else experienced this?
