I've been using a wallet on bitcoin core for a while. I recently sent it some funds, I saw the transaction on the mempool. However this time it didn't show up on my wallet on bitcoin core.
I restarted bitcoin core a few times and it kept showing the same balance and old transactions. Then I ran rescanblockchain on the console and it's taking forever.
Anyway it can really screw things up if I don't know when it's gonna do this, I'd like to know if there's a way to avoid it. The rescan seems like it will take like 5 hours and until then I can't use the funds I sent me from Bitcoin Core.
I don't even know why this happens, kinda the point is to see your transactions live.
