Bitcoin doesn't buy you a Lambo

Just a reminder for those who a new or think that if they buy Bitcoin with spare change it's going to 10000x and make them a millionaire.

Even if you bought at $200 per Bitcoin (way early), and sold it today that's only 100x. So your $1 investment is $100. Not millionaire stuff... You needed to invest $10k back 2017 for that to happen. (Those that got lambos mined it early, or invested thousands in it)

So what will happen???

Nobody can predict the future, but I think it's likely to go to 10X in the next 10 years and I think it may go to 50X in the next 30 years if we are very lucky. That's still great. You would need a savings account with 13% compound interest to achieve that, it's brilliant.

There is also a chance for a 70% drop, but I personally think it's unlikely and that 50% from today is the worst you could see.

So invest in it, hodl it, spend it, use it, and get all the incredible benefits of using it (see many longer posts about decentralised banking)..... But don't invest your spare change in the hope to buy a lambo next year. It's not happening.
