This is probably the worst place to ask this kind of question, I mean do you really think this forum is going to provide you with an unbiased take?
Here's how confident I personally am regarding bitcoin: First take some time to learn about bitcoin on a deeper level than you understand it now. I don't know how much research you did, but the fact that you are asking this question tends to indicate not a whole lot, and I'd suggest doing a bit more. Though I do believe that the more you learn the more you'll be swayed and less apprehensive you'll be about what you are doing, the real purpose of learning more will be that you can quickly sort good arguments from bad when it comes to those critical of bitcoin. You'll be able to cut past the biased critiques and arguments made by those that really don't understand what they are talking about and focus on actual concerns or potential issues. This is due diligence when you are talking about your financial future and you will be far better served by a serious deep dive once rather than asking for confirmation bias on a forum. The former will solidify you one way or the other and give you long term confidence or you'll choose to abandon it all together. What won't happen is you won't be needing to be reassured multiple times in the future and won't be as easily influenced by fluctuations that can cause you to do dumb things (like selling at a loss or at the bottom of a bear market).
