Bitcoin investment

Hello, I’ve had a premium bonds account for around 5 years, holding £3,000, over those years I’ve won a few £25 here and there, making it better then keeping it in my bank, I left it in there on the off chance of winning the jackpot ( £1million)..my question is, would “investing” the £3,000 into something like bitcoin be a bad idea? I understand the risks are completely different to premium bonds. Thank you
