Bitcoin IS already an inflation, or money printing hedge. Change my mind…

  • if you had been DCA’ing or bought before all the money printing for the pandemic, you are still up a great deal

  • if your country experiences hyper inflation or larger than expected inflation, parking money in bitcoin avoids this.

  • bitcoin itself cannot experience inflation more than what has already been mathematically built in.

No asset class, currency, commodity, rare item or anything for that matter, is immune to hype and bubbly like characteristics. You have to watch for this and not to buy during these times.

Aslong as you DCA or buy during times that are not bubble like, you will likely experience steady appreciation along side government money printing. If you buy during bubbly times, it’l take longer and more money printing for your money to return to its correct value.

Bitcoin isn’t a hedge against commodity price rises that aren’t a cause of money printing.

Bitcoin, in my opinion, is a hedge against money printing. Governments will always continue to print money to fund various initiatives. More money supply = higher bitcoin price.

Bitcoin is already doing, and has always been doing, the job it was designed to do. Just because it experiences bubble like characteristics, doesn’t invalidate this.
